Our Mission
The Santa Barbara County Firefighters Benevolent Foundation was formed to provide financial relief for families of firefighters stricken in the line of duty, fund scholarships for children of deceased firefighters, create and maintain a firefighter’s memorial, establish a means of receiving contributions from individuals and businesses interested in funding Santa Barbara County Fire Department projects and equipment and assisting with the well being of the members of the Department.

On April, 27, 2022 my family was faced with the most difficult, scary challenging worst day of our lives.
Our son Chase, who is 6 years old was riding at a motocross track and crashed over a jump. He was rushed by ambulance to the Visalia hospital to be stabilized and then was airlifted to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera.
